Outdoor Economy
Leading the revitalization effort for Canal Place, transforming our downtown into a vibrant hub for recreation and local pride. Heading up the River Park Project she has devoted most of her career to preserving and protecting our public lands.
Building Partnerships
Dee Dee serves our community on various boards and committees. The Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area, The Carver Board, The Downtown Way Finding Committee and the Heritage Area Coalition are just a few of the partnerships Dee Dee has contributed to.
Advocacy
By building strong relationships with our leaders Dee Dee advocates for the needs of our community on the local and state level. With over 40 years of service in state government Dee Dee has a deep understanding of how to advance projects and ideas at the state level to optimize opportunities for Allegany County.
Tourism Sustainability
Championing the tourism market in Allegany County to help its continued growth and sustainability. Ensuring that tourism remains the economic engine that it is today. Contributing over $202 Million annually in direct travel spending and $50 Million in tax revenues to Allegany County. Dee Dee recognizes the value that the local tourism economy offers.
